Each certificate is personally signed by his holiness, Ashley Watkins, Panjandrum of The Interpretist Church of The Pink Hippo (UK).

To obtain a certificate please send a letter to Derbyshire Secularists, West Wing, Park Hill, Hilton Road, Egginton, Derby DE65 6GU.

Please include:

  • A first class stamp.
  • Your full name, mailing address (complete with post code) and email address.
  • The following statement:

    "I accept that the universe was created by The Pink Hippo, I accept that The Messenger was the prophet of The Pink Hippo and I agree with the teachings of The Interpretist Church of The Pink Hippo. I agree to wear at least one visible symbol of The Pink Hippo at all times."

Note about wearing Hippoist symbols

It is a requirement of the Interpretist Church of The Pink Hippo that all Hippoists shall wear at least one visible symbol of our faith.

Please contact us if you have any difficulty with your employer concerning the wearing of any Hippoist symbol.

We have case law (the wearing of Christian crosses by female British Airways staff) to back us up and we will sue any employer who attempts to prevent any Hippoist wearing the symbols of our religion. We will not tolerate such discrimination.
